World's weirdest road

I have to say, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen road markings as odd as these ones before. Have you?

It seems these artistic road markings were more suited to a surrealist art gallery than a seaside road. After a mere three years, they're being removed due to their unpopularity – a testament to the power of community feedback* and the importance of keeping things simple on our roads.

Currently cars have to awkwardly park in the middle of the road, between a two-way cycle path and perplexing, wiggly road markings – very much not ideal!
