Sorry to be a bummer
I always try to bring you funny and interesting car stories when I can, but sometimes… the industry is downright depressing.
The UK recently announced the number of cars and vans they’re producing is at its lowest since 1953, with cars alone down a sizeable 7.3% from the start of the year.
There are a few reasons why – factory closures, uncertainty over the new electric vehicle grants, and Mr Trump’s umming and ahing over tariffs being the main culprits.

If you’re looking to buy a car, this leaves you with a couple of options. You can either get in the queue for brand new, and battle the thousands of other people hoping to get their hands on the UK’s limited production.
Or you can buy used.
For the avoidance of doubt, ‘used’ doesn’t mean old or faulty. At Buckingham Motor Company, we’d never sell anything that wasn’t still 100% reliable and in quality condition.
Don’t believe me? Come in and take a look at our stock yourself.
I’ll even put a cup of tea on the line.
If there’s anything you’ve got your eye on, best to let me know ASAP because it won’t hang around forever.
And as always, if you ever want an honest chat about anything car related, just hit reply or give me a call on 01280 812121.
Stay safe out there,
