Happy New Year! Hope you had a fantastic festive break with family and friends?

If you’re anything like me, this first week properly back in January is all about revisiting the things you promised yourself you’d do ‘in the new year’.

I’m a master of procrastination, a sucker for hitting “skip to next week” on my to-do list apps and putting off those tricky or time-consuming tasks to another time…

Trouble is, “another time” is quite vague and pretty soon, a month will have passed, then another, and before I know it, I’ll be fishing the Christmas decorations out of the loft again.

Which is why the start of another year is the perfect time to grab the bull by the horns, stop “skipping to next week” and get the ball rolling on things we’ve been putting off.

Like getting that warning light sorted, or upgrading those tyres – or sorting your ride out altogether and finally buying yourself the car you really just want to be driving.

Many of us will have made resolutions to be a little greener in 2025 too - whether that’s cutting waste, saving energy, or driving something better for the planet.

We certainly noticed more people making the switch towards electric vehicles and more people buying used cars in 2024 (better both for carbon emissions, and for your wallet!) and I expect we’ll see more of all of that throughout 2025.

So why not make this the year you upgrade your ride with a quality used car, reduce your footprint, and really love the car you’re driving in one fell swoop?

You might be surprised how low we can get the monthly repayments...

Have a look, hit reply with questions, and here’s to a greener, happier new year.

P.S. Remember, we’ve got a new name, but we’re back and open for business as usual – both in our dealership and garage (plus we still offer Ford services too). Don’t hesitate to let me know if we can help you drive safer, smarter and happier in 2025.

P.P.S. If you’ve been thinking about moving towards electric but those common worries like charging infrastructure and range anxiety have held you back so far, have you looked at plug-in hybrids?

They’re the perfect halfway house towards electric. You get the flexibility of traditional fuel for longer journeys while enjoying cleaner electric driving for your day-to-day trips.

We’ve got some really cost-effective options available at the moment, and if you’re after something super specific, just hit reply, let me know what it is, and I’ll keep my eyes peeled.
