Sci-fi caravan

You know when you read something that makes you think we’re living in the future? I had that experience a couple of days ago.

Luxury car manufacturer Pininfarina have decided to take the humble concept of a caravan and propel it into the realm of sci-fi by creating a towable, expandable trailer.

The trailer can be expanded to as much as 400 square feet of interior space – for reference, most UK homes are only around 900 square feet.

As well as a trailer, Pininfarina are making a static ‘home unit’ version AND a self-driving motorhome.
