August is nearly here, school’s out, and (rain or shine) I’m calling it — summer has officially arrived.

I clocked a surge in caravans on the motorway last weekend — and I’ve got a hunch there’ll be even more popping up as the weekends roll in.

Staycations are booming, flights are eye-wateringly expensive, and honestly, there are SO many beautiful campsites on the continent after all. (If you can save a packet, camp or caravan and still have a great time away, why fly?)
