Angry signs and pitchforks

As if the thousands of people coming and going every day didn’t make airports hectic enough, something new has been added to stress the public.

Kiss-and-fly charges.

To be fair, there’s always been a cost at UK airports for parking to pick up and drop off loved ones, but the busiest airports have recently bumped these prices…

And it’s not gone down well.

As well as the online critics, the price hike has garnered real world protesters too – not the angry signs and pitchforks kind of protesters, but people willing to park in nearby lay-bys to escape the parking charge.

Trouble is, if this tactic works, more and more people will cotton on, leading to a dangerous situation once the lay-bys are filled up.
