An LSD is a mechanical device that prevents all the cars power from going to the wheel or wheels with the least grip. It is often combined with electronic control of some kind to create an “E-diff”.

Traction control is a system that prevents too much power going to the driving wheels on a car and causing the wheels to lose grip or “spin”. It helps the driver to maintain control in low grip situations such as loose gravel, snow or ice. Most cars now have traction control.

What is ABS? Even if you have been driving for many years, you may have found yourself at one point having to hit the brakes a little harder than usual. ABS is an abbreviation of Advanced Braking System. It prevents your wheels from locking up and maintains grip on the road.

With built-in sensors, the system detects if their is a car ahead and will maintain a gap between you and the other car. If the car brakes in front of you, your car will brake as well.
